Looking for great atmosphere combined with a great meal in Las Vegas?  Then TAO Restauant should be at the top of your list. Everything here is really great, from the the giant budha statue in the middle of the restaurant, the great looking wait staff (I’m talking about the waitresses, fyi)  to the food they serve, TAO is pretty aweseome. The bar/lounge area is a great place to hang out and have drinks and I start out many a nights here when I’m in town. Drinks are not cheap (but what is in Vegas at any nice place?) but they are pretty good.  I started loving TAO when I first went to the New York TAO and I still think overall that one is better but I still love TAO Las Vegas. As for the food, the Chilean Sea Bass is just awesome. They have an appetizer and a main course but if you go you have to order one or the other or you will be missing out. Just like Koi Restaurant, TAO also serves a crispy rice with spicy tuna. It’s really good, but not nearly as good as Koi’s. The wasabi crusted filet mignon is excellent and you can’t go wrong with this dish. Best filet I’ve had in a while! There’s nothing I’ve ever had on the menu here that’s not really good so you really can’t go wrong here. If you’re in the mood for it, TAO Nightclub is upstairs right above the restaurant. Overall I give TAO a 4 out of 5 stars.
